I assisted with a re-wire on a 1984 HJ47 recently. I am recalling the yellow with black stripe and the black wire run from the glow plug relay you have pictured across the dash to the glow plug heating element which is the screen below the head light switch on the left of the dash. Bit of an odd design but inside the screen on the left of the dash is a heating coil that glows red when the key is held in the glow position. It was burned up on the 47 we just re-wired so we bypassed it. I could be wrong on the colors as I am pulling this from memory, check the wiring diagram to verify.

Cheers
