Hello my Green Country bretheren, Panzer from LSLC here.
My brother lives in Tahlequah and is having issues with his 80 front end.
He has taken it to a local mechanic with no luck getting the issue resolved.
His truck has developed a whine over 30 mph when accel or decel. No whine in the sweet spot in between. I sent him a set of new used gears which the guy just installed after having Toyota in Muskogee set up the third. He picked it up today and the whine is still there. Only thing I can think of is gears still not set right.

I need a good Toyota driveline shop in Tulsa or Tahlequah or somewhere in between.

Thanks in advance
Chris

Not sure of a driveline shop in the area that knows Toyotas, unfortunately. There is Lesters Gears in Tulsa that has a good reputation. I have never used them though. I am not sure if they just sell gears or if they also install them.

There is a GCC member that works for Jim Norton Toyota and lives in Fort Gibson. He would probably take a look at it for you. He wrenches on the side some but would offer an opinion. PM me if you want to contact him.

PM sent. Thx.

I'm in Tahlequah, and there is no one here that can do good work that I've found... So I'm looking too.
