I m looking for a short or a long block for my 1988 fj 62. I would prefer a motor that ran before being pulled but will consider other offers.

there was one listed in the for sale section a bit further north than you wanted, either NC or VA

There's also an entire truck here (FJ62) in Birmingham (not GA, but not far away either) for $500. Blown tranny and thrashed body, but the engine supposedly runs well (I didn't ask him to start it, as I was looking for body/frame). Shoot me a PM if you want me to go have a look or send that guy's information.
