Nead Help!!!!

    I went to start my truck, it truned over and started, then instantly died. (along with the dieing it made a bang). It still turns over but nothin starts, it is also still gettin fuel. Im guessing the distributer or roter, but not sure. Please help!!!

    Well aside from some sort of catastrophic mechanical failure, remember that all it takes is FIRE, FUEL & TIME to start an engine.
    If your sure you have FUEL, look to the other two.

    check the float bowl and see if it has fuel in it - FUEL

    maybe pull air assembly off carb - eliminate any blockages - AIR

    pull a spark plug ground agains block and look for spark as turning over - SPARK

    process of elimination - good luck.

    hmmmm make sure youre choke is still attached. it will not start without it

    i had the same problem and it was a simple cable of the bobine or what ever you call that.

    sorry but i just don't know to much about mechanical words in english

    I got it running!! Wow do i feel stupid lol :eek: :doh: It was flooded, dont ask me how it got flooded, thats still a mistery :confused:

    But thanks for all the help again, it was greatly appreciated!!
