Natual Gas Toyota Camry SXV23 (1 Viewer)

Been shopping around for a solid commuter and a possible double as a family car and came across this. Anyone know if they ever sold these in the US or Canada? I've been looking at natural gas vehicles for a number of reasons, but found a reference to this vehicle when I stumbled across a repair manual for one on eBay. Thanks

now, i've been having a few dificulties researching the topic, but I know for a fact that you can buy very inexpensive conversion kits for int comb engines to accept natural gas instead of petrol...

I see it all the time in renaults, fiats, and vw's in argentina...

There were a limited number of NG Camrys produced in 2000-2001. I believe they were all fleet vehicles, possibly for the State of California.

power company around here runs CNG in some of there fleet vehicles.

also I remember seeing quite a few vehicles running CNG when I was in New Zealand
