In my quest to replace a thousand missing items from my new to me 87 FJ60, I bought a reman'd smog pump from Napa. The problem is the unit doesn't seem to match any of the pulleys I have. The Napa unit has threads for a pulley with 4 holes. The pulley I have (which I am fairly sure is stock) has three holes.

I know a lot of people run Napa pumps - has anybody run into this before?

I am thinking about just drilling 4 holes in my pulley to match the Napa pump. I can't imagine it would hurt it, but maybe I am missing something.

i installed a napa smog pump and it matched up fine.

not sure about drilling to match though.

I just did mine - OEM - it also has 4.
Your pulley is not original.
I'd try to find a cheap used one or drill away.

Here is a shot of the OEM Pump next tot he Napa pump.
Hope this helps.

Looks like I'll be looking for another pulley . . . Thanks for the help.

My Napa pump looks similar to your pic and has the same bolt pattern and blue house. However, both tubes come out of the back (at angles slightly different from OEM.)

My Napa pump looks the same as yours, however it is a piece of s***! It has been on my truck 6mo and it sounds like a flock of birds under the hood!
