Anyone upgrade/install a double din unit in their lx470? Looking to see if anyone would be willing to help install. Help as in I have no idea what i'm doing and will pay/bring beers to anyone willing to help that has experience.

Yep taking out the Nakamichi, looking to put this Sony Head Unit in.
The amplifier under the passenger seat makes a simple traditional stereo install tricky. There are ways to transfer the low level signal to the amp, with a lot of it documented on MUD but I bought a small Kenwood amp and mounted it where the factory amp site. I then ran the RCA wires directly from the amp to the head unit. Then I used the old amp wiring to power and trigger my amp to turn on. The whole install took me about 1.5 hours and there is no feedback. The only downfall is I loose my awesome factory sub..
