Mystery plug behind the dash (1 Viewer)

Hello, I removed my dash and found this plug behind the dash. It wasn't plugged in, wondering if it should or was this just an extra plug? Thanks for any assistance.

sure thing, build date 12/73 Japan. used to have emissions, most of it was removed.

Yes and thanks. I have both the 72-73 and 74 schematic. On the 72-73 there is a spark control computer with a BY, B, LR, and Blue. On the 74 version of schematic I have nothing even close. Wondering if there are two versions of this. Not an expert but somehow with a black, green, light purple/red and black yellow it’s tied to the ignition and a light somehow.
Gotta love a transition year.

Mystery solved, thanks Coolerman. Here's what he said "That is the infamous vacuum/electric 4WD actuator connector. I know of no one who actually had that actuator installed but that is what it is for."
