Got the latest TOYOTA TRAILS today, and there is a pic of my 40 on page 2. :bounce:

(It's on the back of the T-shirt worn by the camerman in the photo. :flipoff2: )

That's cool, Jim. I wear that shirt pretty frequently (or at least that's what my g/f tells me :D) and I get questions about your 40 all the time. They get the crop circle ride paraphrased...

The guys who help me at my dealer wanted some of the shirts they liked it so much!

Yes Mike and the guys at Toyota do a pretty good job with their shirts. Of course, I am partial to this year's shirt.

Speaking of crop circles, I am trying to get up to my place end of Sept/beginning of October. Hope to get some fishing in sometime soon. It has beena lean summer. May go offshore tomorrow AM if weather holds.

Jim

Pictures don't do it justice. Not even a thousand words
could. Best T yet IMHO. I know I'm prejudice, being it's
Mike and the Capt'n, but it is one nice T. More than once
I've been approached about the shirt when wearing it.
I enjoy telling them I know the dudes. :grinpimp:
Kudos!

That's awesome and I am jealous. I haven't been since OBX Tuna / Wahoo / Billfish trip in April. :crybaby:

Didn't get to make my lobster pilgrimage to Walker's / Grand this year. Luckily the freezer is still full from last year's bounty.

Good luck, let us know how it goes and stay away from those big rays!!

I've still haven't seen any royalties for that photo I took! I need to get Pumpkintown's finest on my side.

I had dinner last night w/Mr. Pumpkintown and his wife.

I'll mention it to him when I see him again this weekend.

(BTW, I'm up here at the tin can, they're not down in Florida)

Nice time of year up there I imagine. I hope to have my truck on the road within the next few weeks. I had to send my carb back b/c it was sucking too much air and I'm waiting on new tie rod ends & center arm rebuild kit. Hopefully that's the end of it for a while...

Does that mean you're gonna get to do some Cullowhee riding this weekend Capt? You're about an hour away from the trail head.

I thought about it, but the clutch slave cylinder is out on my 40. Came up here with little advance notice and only have my Chevy with me. Going to get my place ready for winter and do some non-cruiser work with Hard 40.

It rained all day yesterday, but was beautiful today, low 70's. Should be in the 40's tonight. Beers seem to stay colder much longer up here this time of year.

Leaves are starting to change color up here, too.
