My new to me motor (1 Viewer)

My engine on my '75 is getting week so a local guy has a rebuilt (by a local machine shop) motor sitting in his garage for sale I am thinking of buying. I started to disassemble the engine to reseal the thing because it's been sitting for several years and to my surprise there is some sort of white dust in the damn thing!
The owner has no idea WTF it could be or how it got in there. Any ideas??

looks to me like someones ex GF may have dumped some baking soda down that motor...or someone used some baking soda to put out a fire!!!! laaaaaaame

Anthrax dust Man!! back off that thing!!....probably some sort of terrorist plot by a Jeep owner..... call the EPA or suck it up with one of these Minuteman Mold Vacuum, also great for Anthrax containment

Looks like some hoodlums (kids?) pointed a fire extinguisher down the oil fill plug. It should clean up, but it's got to be disassembled. I wouldn't volunteer to do it if I were you.
