Last week I bought pair of man o free 30mm rear spacers for $45(shipped) and installed during the week end. And then cranked the stock torsion bars to max(less two more treads).

Front fender to axel - 21.5 inches
Front fender to ground - 37 inches

Rear fender to axel - 23 inches
Rear fender to ground- 38 inches....I still have one inch of rake which I like..

Total height of the truck - 79 inches

Slee sliders have about 18 inches of ground clerance

Getting ready to take it to a alignment place...Will they be able to measure the PS height and DS height more accurately?..I think my DS about .25 inches tall in the front.

Anybody else has cranked the stock torsion bars max?? any issues in the long run?? I have done the CV boot reclamping so leaking won't be an issue..hope fully..

Just getting ready to go to Katemcy Rocks(Texas version of Moab) before they close down ..

Do you have any travel upfront? Your gunna be on 3 wheels the whole time if you don't have much droop.

I'm about to put the ome med springs in the back and crank the hell outof the bars.

Would a re-clamp help?( obviously yes, but would it still put unessecary stress of the boots/axels?)

And for the thread-

How's it ride with your t-bars all the way up?

Once you crank the t-bar off the stops the ride does not change no matter how high you go. That in itself is what make cranking the stock t-bars so appealing in my book. Still the same great ride as stock with a little added clearance. Mind you it does ride a little firmer with the addition of Bilstein Shocks.

im not putting bilstein on. ill stick with my oem shocks and crank the bars. my CV clamps are leaking right now so before i do this so called lift. ill have to address the CV boot/clamp issue. i have that crap sprayed all over my LCA upfront and its caked on the axle itself. i have yet to fix this....

if you have any OME rear springs. PM me and we can work a deal out. i can get some for 100 bucks. is that a fair price?

21" in the front on stock t-bars for the last 50K+ miles
No CV boot reclamping
No CV boot leakage
No diff drop
No problems

Thanks Phill...this is what I really wanted to hear
By the way, are your T bars maxed out or is there still room to raise?

Ride is ok ...little stiff and does not nose dive when brake..

$75-100 is a good price for OME springs...good luck

How do I check the up travel or the droop?

I would think jacking it up and measuring how much travel you have before you get wheel lift.

I want to say 60MM is the recomended droop for our rigs.

I checked droop and I have about 60-65mm on both sides..depending on the tire presure etc.....I guess that's good enough..

Did you re-index or do anything with your torsion bars?

Or just crank them up and go?

I am sill on stock T bars..so I just cranked them up...I only have about 2-3 treads left on both the bars..

For the experts:

If you reindex the stock torsion bars, can you get the same amount I lift, and have more threads availible? Does reindexing also provide/allow more droop?

Looks good, though not that high...

I had my OME T-Bars cranked to max and it rode like a jalopy.

Had to drop them back down.
