My “new” 1995 LC 80 series

Just want to say hi and introduce myself. Just bought my first LC! Paid 8k for it with metal tech front and rear bumpers and rock sliders, warn 10k winch, ARB lockers for rear with 145k on odometer. Been reading it’s built like a tank and with proper maint. Can last a long time.

It’s an incredible vehicle. With some maintenance and care it will last a long time. Enjoy driving it, there are less and less people who get to feel what it’s like to drive a low miles land cruiser.

So I found it it has a rear axle seal leak and a power steering fluid leak over the weekend and then while cruising some trails in Colorado both muffler brackets broke. It crawled over everything! I enjoyed the riding and so did the wife which made it even better. She hated the 98 Jeep TJ i had :^) I'm getting those leaks fixed and should get it back in a couple days. I tested the Warn winch, the ARB compressor and rear lockers with OME 2.5 heavy lift this weekend and they all worked great. I checked the gas mileage and it averaged to just over 14mpg which I have read is OK. My wife who drives a Turbo 2012 GTI with 30 some mpg was kinda shocked lol. MY downside was a bit on the ride quality, thinking I mat want a softer ride than what the OME offers but that'll be for later.
