Like title states, my horn started blaring this afternoon. I disconnected the battery to get it to stop and then hit the forum. I haven’t done any testing yet
it’s a 1982 40, so what I found out is that there is not a relay. Has anyone dealt with this issue before? If they did, how was it rectified?

Looks like on a 1982, +12 volts, goes right to the horn , and when you press the horn switch , if gets the ground. I would look real close at the horn switch.

I got in to look at it today. What I found is that the low horn is grounding out at the bracket causing it to sound.
Thank goodness it didn't go off in the middle of the night or whilst I was out and about.
