Nope, not the animal kind, the converter kind. I went out playing in the snow this Sunday before the "big game" and on the way back I had issues with my truck. It lost power and started making a whistling sound. I think the pictures will tell the story. That is a chunk of my cat inside the pipe between the cat and the muffler. Nice restriction. The whistling sound was coming from a gap at the header flange. The back-pressure blew out the gasket and created a leak.

That is a pic of me churning up the white stuff.

You know how lucky we were that it didn't let loose up on the trail? I don't know if you could have gotten through some of those spots without large amounts of throttle.

Impressive chunks at least. Nothing worse than something breaking and not leaving you some large, tangible bit of broken something to look at.

So Jerod whatdya do to get that deep brown patina on that stainless?

I have one similar that took me forever to get lookin like that!
