My gutter feet were capable of bending the gutter with out deforming... something must have changed.

Also - did yours not come with rubber boots for the exposed thread?

Received mine about a week ago and finally got it installed.

I experienced the same problems with the gutter mounts bending as mentioned above. I have emailed Zach about this. We'll see what he says. Great rack otherwise! Love how low profile it is.

Another note, I removed my gutter trim and it seems to have given the gutter mounts a little better angle....

PrinSu Rack's First Expedition......

to Home Depot..

Installed the PrinSu about 2 months ago. I echo all the comments previously mentioned. clamps are a little weak, but the fact that it is one continuous foot in the gutter should make up for it. No instructions, it would have really helped to have thought about putting the air deflector on the nuts and then sliding it in the rail. I did in fact almost go insane.

I really love the design. It looks nice, fits well, is light, low profile and strong. Here are some picks loaded. I did not notice any issues carrying this semi heavy load.

Mine came with the rubber caps too, but once the clamps deformed, the threads were too long for the caps to fit. Rather than cut off the excess threads, I'm going to make new brackets and then see where I end up.

how much do they weigh?

Yup - I think it was the initial thread by @Box Rocket that mentioned that they used the 80/20 parts. I like that, because it gives you a lot of flexibility in configuring the rack exactly how you want it.

Exactly. I like that I can order up some of these and notch them for my usage. Adding tie down points after the install sucks.

Yeah, that mount is garbage. No way would I trust metal that thin.

Why would you worry so much about it since that mount only prevents the rack from flying off the roof. All the weight is actually resting on the racks feet inside the gutter.

Loaded up in off camber situations, braking quickly, non-aerodynamic loads going down the highway @75mph+ & vehicle accidents just to name a few.
