Treated my gal to a much needed fresh set of wiper arms and blades…the FJ62 to 4Runner swap courtesy of city racer.
Holy Tomatoes the difference is like beyond! No chittering chuttering squealing but…the motor speed is still a little too slow. And before y’all start with the blonde jokes - yes I tried the wipers wet not dry.

So before fall into the rabbit hole of research & diagnosis on how to improve wiper motor speed … anyone have any suggestions as to where to start?

Check the voltage at the wiper motor connector with it running. Compare that to battery voltage so see how much you are losing. Bad connections, old wiring, weak relays will all add resistance to the circuit. Google search voltage on ground wire for 12 volt circuits, watch a couple videos on youtube and go to work testing grounds for the wiper motor and other areas. You'll probably find some issues that will lead you to the right direction.
