Well it was bound to happen....my first damage to the 200 Series LC!!!
I was out with my brother-in-law and we decided to go have some fun with some larger boulders that were around.
It was at night.....my first mistake!
The boulders were about 3-4 feet high and I thought it would be fun to try and go over or at least on top of them.
Well.....we went up one, and when I tried to re-position myself, I rolled off and too far back.....into a large boulder behind me.
I shut off the parking sensors, because they were going nuts, for obvious reasons.
Second mistake.....no spotter!
Well the rear right side of the bumper got crushed in, and the light housing that is on the right rear quarter panel was smashed!
Here are some pics.
The night pics.....
Well we spent about 30 min popping out the bumper and it looked MUCH better afterwards.
Here are the next day pics:
Well the light housing is $265!!!!

Forget the bumper....it has a few scratches and I am not worried about it.
Actually if SLEE would make me a new rear bumper, the damage would be alot less!!
I ordered the housing today, and it is simple to replace.
The wife still has not noticed it yet , so I am safe for now
So the lessons are:
1) Wheeling at night where you don't know your way around = DUMB
2) Not having a spotter on the same trip mentioned in #1 = EVEN MORE DUMB
3)Banging up a new $72k Land Cruiser and laughing about it = PRICELESS!
