Hello all, this is my first post:)

Here are some pictrures of my rear bumper with tire carier i fabbed up,
The objective was to hold a tire and a jery can, but still be able to use the pintle hook. It is all tig or mig welded and has bronze bushings on the pin. My favori part is the tail light protectors. :D
I think it turned out pretty good.
Here it is after powder coat. And I love the IPOR latch!!

Welcome to Mud your carrier looks real good. Where are you from in VA.

Looks great!, do you have a set of plans or are going into production, looks very professional!

Thanks for the all the kind words! :)

Thornton: I live in Loudoun County, pretty close to you.

Tanker120: I do not have plans but I put a slide show together with some more detailed pictures. Also i have never thought of making tire carriers to sell; would there be intrest in them? :hmm:

JohnnyB-

Great work... great slideshow. I am interested where you found that latch.....

Nice!!!!!

That is one of the cleanest and sharpest looking rear tire carriers I have seen! If you made some they would sell!

Thanks Guys!!
The lach I got is from Iron Pig Off Road, I think it is the best latch for this kind of application.

Maybe I should make these now, haha :steer:

Nice job, I agree, the tail-light protectors are cool !! Nice work

Nice work! I'm south of you near Warrenton.

Thanks
Its nice to have some fellow cruiser fans close! :D

Heck yes! that tire carrier looks better than the tire/jerrycan carrier man-a-fre makes. If I had money that wasn't being devoured by college, I'd totally buy one from you.

Would that part that holds the hi-lift jack to the tire carrier work with an OEM tire carrier bolts?

Yeah, i used the oem bolt patern, so it should work.

did you make that hi lift holder or did you get it somewhere?

Can you make more?
