Well few weeks ago I did my first oil change on 5K mark for my VDJ76 ..

I install the Catch Can before reaching the 200km so mostly from the very beginning ..

This it's what I got from it after 5K

You don't think that is to much for a new mostly stock engine ?

looks alot, have you mounted this higher than the breather so it can drain back?
my poor old 1kzte just has hose running straight out of the rocker cover up higher than the outlet and just dumped straight down the chasis rail, only a small amount of oil mist is visible in the chasis rail

I do ...

I don't know the oil it have from the beginning ..?

nearly 4oz

Now it have Rotella 5W-40 T6 ... so we'll see how it goes ..

That does look like a lot.

I just put one in my VDJ200 so will report back how it is after 5,000km

NO idea ..

I was looking for more opinions and experiences ..
You mean, as opposed to stunned silence? I just put a vent hose on the 12HT and ran it
down to the frame until I get catch can installed. The one I got is too big. But I can smell it,
and from looking there is just a mist of vapour escaping after 2000 kms.

Share here same thread in a Down under forum ..

According to them 120mm seems to be just fine and normal for this engine ..
