Well I hope this is the cure to my running hot.It would get really hot while driving,but cool off if I stopped.I had two huge dead areas on the shroud so I punched 8 3" holes in in it.The idea with the rubber flaps is that they blow open while your moving,and then shut when your still and the fans are on.

Did you bead blast them? They look good. I think Kristen needs them on the FJ.

Yep The paint on the centers came off easy with the bead blaster.I dont know what type of coating was on the outer but it was a mofo to git off.I couldnt blast it off so I used some super dooper paint stripper .The first ring I did took 2 hours of brushing it on to get it all off.But it took 4 hours a piece on the other three.What was left I blasted off.It too for ever
Came out cool lookin though.Same silver as my trim and my bumpers when I get them painted.

Yeah the military always puts A LOT of coats of paint on them. Of all the sets I've run I think I only took the time to strip 1 set all the way down because it was such a pain.

Why yes it is .Its the wifes.She says I can do whatever I want to it as long as I dont put any scratches you can see.It has alot of scratches underneath

What about running 1 larger fan with a larger shroud. Funnel the air from the outer-most parts of the rad in through the fan? First thought is a Taurus/ Mark VIII fan.

I cant run a Taurus fan.I dont have enough room between my rad and water pump pulley.Noel has one hangin on the wall and I tried to fit it in last summer
