I posted earlier when I got it with the details so I'll just start with what I've done in the 5 weeks I've had it. Next up as soon as I can save up the funds is the lift, OME 850J/863. Of course eventually sliders and possibly change up the bumper setups. Remove the roof rack, and on and on. Stayed tuned:

Blue Fan Clutch (AJIK), Auto-up window mod, interior LEDs (Amazon), EZ power window jumper relay (LCPhil thread), CDL switch (Yan), 7-Pin mod. A good look over and blessing by Kevin and John here in town. Today had the Nitto Terra Grapplers of the 315 flavor put on at Discount. A guy I used to work with got me a friends/family discount, $1052.20 out the door, plus a little $30 mail-in rebate.

Best part...pics:

Off on it's final voyage with inferior sneakers...

As has been documented by others the guys at Discount asked me at least 3 times if they would fit, or if I was sure they'd fit. Even the guy who brought me the paperwork said he'd make a good turn pulling it out of the bay to see if they'd rub. I just said "they won't." Moving on...

Super sweet. LOVE IT. Of course can't wait to put on a lift but I can rock this for a bit.

Very nice! Looks beefy with all that rubber tucked underneath.

Great looking LX! Question what kind of rear bumper is that?

And what you plan on doing next?

Yep Kaymar Deluxe, PO had it on. Actually the next thing I'm going to 'do' is find a trail!! But for the rig itself next major item will be lift for sure. It already has OME shocks. In the mean time little things like roof rack removal as I mentioned and I'm going to add another dome light to the lift gate as many have done. That's just off the top of my head, it'll be neverending for sure.

Looks nice.

Maybe I missed it, but what lift do you have currently? Those tires fill the wheel wells nicely, you sure they don't rub? :hmm: (I consider rubbing when the tires make any contact at all, not necessarily ripping the flares off).

No lift yet, stock springs with OME shocks. I'm sure it would rub if flexed but street driving, even turning wheel full lock either way, it doesn't.

Actually not at all. A tiny bit of highway hum but quite surprised at how quite. I don't have a lot of experience with mud and AT tires but would recommend these, grant it only driven about 20 miles on them so take it for what it's worth. Although I purchased upon recommendation from a couple of experienced AZ Mudders.

These tires are on my short list based on praise from a few of the CSC folks.

looks like you have a lowering kit,,,,...jk. looks cool. cant believe they dont rub. gotta love the huge wheel wells

Haha it is...factory lowering kit. Keep it lower for better mileage.

How's the gearing. Is it real noticeable going to 315's? Think you will end up regearing? I am thinking of getting these exact tires

I do notice, takes a tiny bit more to get going. But nothing I'll regear over. I keep the PWR button on for the shift points as I like it personally so that's good enough. I'm get a Yellow Box speed calibrator or similar too.

those tires have been great for 8000 miles on my truck, I hae had them in rocks, snow, and mud and they perform better than any AT i have had before. They seem really durable as well and the tread has not chunked at all. Hope they serve you well as they have me.

A little update and list of pieces ordered. Pics to come.

- Going with TJM 50mm heavy springs from Sierra Expedition here in town since Ironman are on b/o til mid November (picking up tomorrow!!)
- Yellowbox speed calibrator came in today
- Airlift came in today as well. PO had existing bags (one flat) so figured since everything is there I'd put in new bags.
- Main roof rack removed. Hope to get rails removed this weekend.
- New antenna assembly installed, functions perfectly (from murf).
- OBDII scan tool ordered, should be here Saturday (this one: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005NLQAHS/ref=pe_175190_21431760_M3T1_SC_dp_i1 ).

Going to be a busy and fun weekend but will be a miracle if it all gets done, kids flag fb games, wifey b'day, church Sunday-will pray for a miracle.

TJM lift

Already posted this in a separate thread. Just adding to my build thread.

Bluesea dual USB added

Had to install a little different than what is called for because of room behind but turned out ok. It is wired constant direct to the battery from the previous owner who had an extra cig lighter added. Is that ok generally?

If youve got it hooked directly to the battery, make sure you've put a single fuse box/holder along the line so that it doesn't start a fire if it shorts.
