I know this has been discussed recently, but has anyone attempted to rig up mud flaps for the Slee bumper? Any photos?

Hi Jim

I have thought about working a universal mudguard to fit nicely on the slee bumper, but I have decide to go without guards because of my future tire selection, (it appears that 35`s will rub the bumper slightly under compression, thus removing any mudguard that is there anyway) and because it looks so nice without mudguards ! :D

I have been told, however, that they are REQUIRED in some states !

I dont know about the state you live in, but Nevada has no real enforcement of mudguards on passenger vehicles (OK, actually they dont enforce ANYTHING, including limo tint, having a dozen 200 watt driving lights on the front of your rig, 24" of lift with 44 inch tires, or even speed limits for that matter most of the time ! ) so I am not too worried about being ticketed for rocks flying off my back tires, but I would still consider adding some if it was clean and easy install

Let us know if you find a suitable mudguard for your Slee bumper that looks "factory" !!

After running in the mud with the Slee rear bumper the mud, as some of you probably have discovered, gets packed into the rear and corners of the bumper. And what a job it is to get all that hard packed mud/dirt back out! Will have to put the thinking cap on and try to figure out a solution...
