Mudder in Maine? Seeking FJ62 Tech Assist (1 Viewer)

Any Mudders in the Bar Harbor, Maine area available to assist my college daughter with possible minor problems in the future? Right now she has a "won't start" problem on her stock FJ62 with rebuilt 3FE/auto with about 15K on them. Cranks but won't fire (so she says; very untechnical; i'm in MD/VA). We have AAA and they tried to start on site and now being towed to a local garage. Checked the stickys for recommended mechanic in the area with no luck. Hopefully the garage folks will be reputable and they'll find an easy and cheap fix. Thanks.

I have had that problem on 2 different 62's turns out it was the fuel pump on both, happened both times after I filled the gas tank of course. I am located down in the portland area if I can be any help.

Thanks. No feedback from garage yet. Could be the pump. It's the original. We shall see.

X2 on fuel pump. I had the same failure.

could also be the wire in driver side wheel compartment.

easy to check the fuel pump, bypassing on the firewall diagnostic area.
