Anyone know why the mud app for i-phone is not working ?

Dunno, but it's working for me right now. It did quit working over the weekend, though.

mine says "logging in" but never does. been this way over a week

Mud (mobile and non-mobile) has been off and on frequently over the past couple days. It just went down a couple hours ago for a bit.
However not an entire week. Have you tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it?

It was telling me that there was a problem with the v bulletin plugin over the weekend. Just the app on my iPhone and iPad. Seems to be working fine now

Updated the phone and reloaded app. Seems to be working now.

Glad to know this. I have had some random times when I couldn't get it to work on my Droid. Nothing in the last few days but several times end of last week and first of this one.
I've had some issues with it on my Driod lately too. Saw there was an update for it and loaded that; It may just be coincidental as it seems the site or the app may have been experiencing issues anyway, but it's been working pretty good ever since.
Elbert - I agree the app is a little bit on the basic and small-text side, but if you're trying to get on Mud via any smartphone, it is soooooo much faster than trying to load the full web version. Unless maybe the 4G phones have plenty of speed to do it?

I agree on the 4g vs 3g...but I"m on 3g when I get that speed.
I try and avoid wearing my reading glasses all the time, so some of that is my own problem. I did find the settings for increasing the text size and that's helped.
In the end you only have so much screen space and limited speed. I have a droid incredible2 and it works reasonably well. I can't get 4g at home and I don't think its fully deployed in Huntsville either... and so I have a 3g phone.. maybe somewhere in the future I'll get a faster phone...but only when there is infastructure to support it where I live & work.

It can if you set it up to send you notifications.
Go to the main page, pull up you menu and go to settings. Follow the directions in Push Notifications.
Finally joined the smart phone world. Pretty cool to have mud on the go
I must be really gifted...on this smartphone app. at the bottom of the screen there is a menu button that one selects that shows the msgs. Its working and I was not aware. So you can see that if the application is open.
I do have msg "pushed" to me by email....which is outside of the mud app.

My ih8mud app keeps showing notifications on my iPhone 4S, but I don't know what they are for? I have 7 notifications next to the app?
When you open the app does it show a number beside "Subscribed" or "Messages"
