Can the Mini truck doors fit on a 4runner ,if not whats differant, can i use them as half doors

I am almost positive they wont fit...

if the trucks are the same year the will be close to fitting since most all the parts are interchangeable. IM NOT SAYING THEY WILL FIT THOUGH. Just my opinion thrown out there.

Just look at the doors and if the look the same, then i would bet they are the same since toyota probably wouldn't hve made the two doors almost the same but yet not quite it woudl have been inefficient. If they could have used one mold instead of two that will save tim eand money and still not sacrifice quality.

The sheetmetal shells are the same. The pickup doors won't have the additional handle at the back edge for the rear seat passengers.

Other differences occur with the trim level, ie: where the holes for the door panel are, etc. Nothing that can't be fixed with a drill. I'm pretty sure that they all accept window tracks and hardware for both vent window and non-vent window configuration. But, a door that originally had vent wondows will have the mirror holes furter back.

Correct. Metal is metal. I believe there are only two doors listed in the aftermarket catalogs I've searched; vent or non vent window. IIRC, the doors are the same, so I'm not sure why they even list those.

i don't think the drivers door even had the second handle further back for the passangers.

I think the rear handle was a waste of time too. In the many years the famliy owned the 4runner you can probably count the number of times the rear handle was used on two hands.

This is true, the second handle is only on the passenger door, just like the little foot pedal at the base of the passenger seat, so the rear seat passenger can flip the seat forward and open the door.

It has to do with the location of the threaded inserts in the outside door skin, for the side mirrors. The vent window doors have the mirrors further back, so the frame around the little wing window isn't in the way of you using the mirrors.
