@mwalls54 I generally try not to be but I guess I'll hop on there to join the group. I understand it is a convenient medium for these types of things. I'll get on and check it out and sign up so I at least get notifications from the group.
Looking like it may rain this weekend @Comet so I might be bailing on the camping, but I'll keep you posted. Otherwise, would definitely love to meet up even if in town for food and beers.

Can anyone recommend a home inspection service? We are interested in a house in Pulaski and would rather go with someone who you all might know then a random guess.
Richard Varney in Roanoke does home inspections. I am not sure if he is retired or if his underlings are still working their bottoms off.

I purchased an FJ 60 for my 12-year-old son and we are working on it together as a father and son project. I do not do Facebook so that is out of the question. I am perfectly fine with communication within the Forum.

Hello, I am ( 5 months new to the area) in Pulaski. Haven’t had anytime to work on my 60 as the dust is still settling, got a brake issue to sort out.
Hope to get it inspected in a few weeks and head to some trails in the fall.
Great way to bond with the son.

I am not setting up a Facebook account. However if the owner of the Star City Land Cruisers would remove the (private group) settings... then I may benefit by trolling the content. Lol
I am not active on Fakebook either, wife included me on her account. Star City Land Cruisers is active on that platform. I’m up for a scheduled gathering at a restaurant or local trailhead. Working through mechanical issues is always more fun with company too.
no worries on the FB account. We will keep the group private. Kinda have to for all of the spam and fake users out there cluttering it up.
maybe we should do a email list until we can become a official club and get our own clubhouse.
