I either have an 80 that makes it's own gas, or something is up with my fuel gauge. I have noticed that it goes down to 1/4 tank but then starts going back up? That is odd to say the least. Anyone ever had this problem, or do I have a magic bean?

Probably a hybrid

Heck yeah, it's like a prius, but better. I should notify Toyota about this...

I put $30 in my tank when it was on E. Drove to ORV park. On pavement fuel gauge was at about 1/2. out in the park, I was trying to climb this steep hill, loose dirt/sand, had to keep backing up and giving it more, back and forth like that for a little while. :princess: looks over and says kind of panicked "how much gas did you put in?" (used her cc). I said $30 and looked down at fuel gauge... Holy s***, it's almost full!!!:hmm:

after the hill, back on level ground, I realized system of the fuel tank and whatever meter it is must be in the back of it! So when I want to feel like I have more gas, just take the rig and go climb a steep hill!!!:hillbilly:

yeah, mine is occurring on level ground in town driving... I'm calling Al Gore as we speak to see if he is interested in purchasing it...

yeah didn't think it sounded much like your situation, just reminded me of it.

Call his soon-to-be ex-wife (saw they're getting a divorce on yahoo) maybe she can through it in the divorce settlement--have him pay for it without knowing

Be carefully Tipper may take it in the divorce.

Have you checked all the simple stuff like connection?

Where do you park at night? Ill come siphon off the excess :)

check the wiring, maybe a wire is starting to rub through. Also check the ground for the sender. Good luck and let us know what you find

My vote would be sensor in your float assembly. Easy to get to, but you need to be careful when you loosen up the pressure side of the fuel line, it the banjo bolt, or you will get gas sprayed all over ya.

Also, unplug the solar cells you have on the roof rack to see if it still recharges your tank. :)
