Over the last few days the 60 has been stripped, drivetrain pulled from the 45 etc. So what were some of the ****in buttmunchin previous owner dingles found on the 45?

    How about:
No ****in oil filter. It was just routed for recirculation. Hello, Earth to Beavis. Did I find a 45 that was owned by a long distance cuz of stuck (wait, is it the same cuz or Arya's?)

Shoeless Joe Jackson apparently once owned the rig too (see attached).

    Broken ubolt on rear :ban:

Alt bracket not attached - just kind of freeballin

Oh, and of course may as well weld all the ****in bolts to the frame when tightened (not captive nuts - but rather the bolts)

So what are your end goals for this new junk? Oh and what is your daily driver going to be now that the 45 is drivetrainless ..

45 will be dd for a while as some bits are pulled off the 80. Then once the 80 is replaced the 45 will be the trail rig and town beater etc. I only work about 8 miles, all country roads, from where I live, so I can drive it to work no problem - 2F, trans and tcase as well as front knuckles etc from 60 are going to the 45. Eventually I'll have another beater trail rig, but after puttering around at CMCC with a stocker rig I decided I can learn a lot more from driving something close to stock for awhile. Biggest mistake I ever made was modding the 80 too quick. The 45 will never be far from stock.

If that truck would have come from MS, I would have sworn it was owned by my late father-in-law.

Agreed a 1/2 - 3/4 inch vibrahm lift is pretty unmatched in terms of imagination and the pursuit of function AND fashion...

No pictures, but one customer had something like 6 pucks for a lift, we would stop and watch the shifter move back a couple inches, accelerate and watch it move forward several inches.........

It was like being on one of those rides at the park.
