My original plan was to use a Remflex gasket on my manifold to head due to some warpage and rough surfaces (mostly on the exhaust manifold). Instead I faced the manifold flanges on my small mill so I'm planning on using a standard gasket there. But the joint where the two manifolds bolt together is in question. The exhaust side has a rough surface. If I were to surface it the head-to-manifold bolt holes would not match up. So I'm thinking the solution is to use the Remflex gasket where the manifolds bolt together.
Any thoughts on this plan?
