Here is a more elaborate version of a scangauage. It does all the same stuff, plus gps navi, plus some customizable software based on Linux. Cost is $700 bones though.

there is at least yet another one that can do data logging for something like $400. Seen on Ebay, forgot name. Not color, though, IIRC.

MSD DashHawk for around $250 is another option. Very similar to ScanGauge, but you can also set audible alerts and download to your PC.
