Used the clip and heat shrink method because I might end up using some of these wires in the future. Not sure what for, but maybe

Factory PS engine loom:

Cleaned up:

Got it wrapped up with a new inner fender:

DS loom was more of a mess because of the smog crap. Got it split, cut, capped and wrapped again:

Had to pull the outer fender to replace the inner fender:

Muuuch better with a big fat solenoid to switch my winch hot lead on and off:

I was going to ask the same question. I assume it's to protect against corrosion but what is it?

Hey just caught up on this thread, huge fan of the wagon thanks for the inspiration, just wanted to show you my box setup as you were after one a few pages back, could be way too late but anyway, i think everyone has different needs and i wouldn't get rid of my rear seats even though they are folded down 99% of the time, my main box fills the boot and stops where the seats fold, its set to the same height as the tailgate which is a bit high for sleeping but worked for my tool cases and those cheap plastic boxes. then a second piece of ply spans from there to the top of the rear seats when they are folded, i can sleep on the top especially once i put the carpet and underlay down, a must to stop everything sliding, the two little cubbies have hinged lids and magnet catches for recovery gear and spares and then the three main cupboards fit all my tools, 6x9 speaker boxes go ontop of the wheel arches and the hinged lids cover those as well.
just a note also if you don't have central locking (i don't) set the back seat area up with the stuff you use more regularly on the drivers side, leaning all the way across these trucks to unlock the back passenger door is bad enough let alone after you have just jumped out, especially with your spring over.

Had an awesome weekend at GSMTR and it was great meeting Johnny @GLTHFJ60 and seeing Moonshine in person. Here's a few pics oI got over the weekend. It's pretty massive and badass in person haha.

Wow. What a trip. This is going to become a staple on the wheeling schedule for sure.

Met up with @Fort Knox early and ran out to Sierra Nevada for an early lunch. Met up with @Teddy , @CharlestonG8R and Eric in SC (I believe that's his username) then rolled on to Windrock.

So that was Thursday. Next up is Friday and it rained from about noon onwards. At windrock, that means slick as snot. I didn't get any pics of my truck stuck, but she certainly was right in the foreground:

I tried to focus on videos on Saturday, so it'll take me a couple of days, if not a week, to get them uploaded and together. Let's just say that one of them includes a drag race that I lost

For those wondering, the campground we stayed at does have showers and toilets, although the porta-potties are closer. There is a pavilion but the staff crew set up all around it, so we camped in the mud As for the park, between the three good, long days, we put about 100 miles offroad and covered maybe 10% of the park. This park is insanely large and has wheeling for every caliber of truck, from a stock 80 @Beau Diddly all the way through a buggy on 54" tires. Absolutely amazing

Thanks to everyone who makes GSMTR happen!! Holy crap, what a heck of a good time. Can't wait for next year I hope we can get some more ONSC'ers out next year!!!

No I was busy making sure the winch line got hooked up safely

To everyone else, although there is no pictoral evidence Moonshine's winch does function and pull it up a steep muddy hill.
