Does your manual primer pump leak? It's a s***ty plastic piece.
Did you have a spare yoke handy or drive home in FWD?
Doesn't look like you trailer squatted at all with that load in it.
Bummer about the yoke. Glad that 4bt is being exercised.
Is the trailer load of steel just to test out the trailer or what? Building a bridge out in the bush?
What kind of power are you getting out of the 4bt? Whats your fuel mileage like?
The steel were posts for guardrail. There's a lot of guardrail going up in the USFS managed trail system to keep people out of the off-limits areas.
Haven't dynoed the truck yet, but based on the numbers, I should be around 300hp and 500ft/lbs of torque. Getting ~20mpg if I keep it at or below 65. ~18-20mpg in the city depending how spirited I drive.
Totally agree here.Black smoke is not a good thing. You should tune the truck so it doesn't smoke. Don't be *that guy* that gives diesel owners a bad rep.
35s currently. I got better mileage with the 37s I used to have, but the ride and acceleration are so much better with 35s.
