For a while now the moonroof will not open, not sliding or tilting.
I also had water coming in the footwell during heavy rain.
Somewhere on FB I read to remove the glasspanel and then clean the holes.
So I did that today and tested it with some water.
The drivers side was fine, but not the passanger side. There was no water under the ar.
Armed with a piece of cable tie I poked in the slits and water was gushing out. Found the problem.

While to glass panel was off, I checked the mechanism.
When trying to tilt the roof, one side the cable is moving and lifting a little, the other side it is not moving at all.
Does this mean the cable is stuck/broken?
It doesn't want to slide at all.

Sounds like your cable is frozen in the guide tubes. If you did not drop the motor, though, you are trying to move the cables against the motor gear.

I did not drop the motor.
My wife was pushing the tilt button and only one side was trying to go up and I saw the cable at the side moving.
The other side did not move at all while the button was pushed.
