I always see the structures that lost them but I never see the pieces that tore off after they came to rest. However, when i bought my land, there was a demolished metal shed in a heap in the middle of the property. I found out later from the neighbor that it was his. While he was erecting his new shed, the wind came up and took it away. He was so frustrated that he just left it in a heap 1,000' feet away, for years. He finally came and cleaned it up after I bought the land and met him and he told me the story. Those are deposited randomly throughout the Estancia Valley during windstorms.
If I install one in my backyard, will I get (national) news coverage too?
And it's is gone, too. Seems more terrestrial by the minute.Looks like it's up for sale in Abq. He wouldn't budge a dollar below $75k. What a tight ass.
