Monolith in Southern Utah?

Here's a story - the interesting thing is at the very start of the helicopter shot there is a well used 4x4 trail at the lower right. Anybody recognize it?

Nope. I don't recognize that trail. Neat story, though.
 
Looks like it’s along the Lockhart basin trail...I just drove right past a couple of months ago😎
 
It was me. It just fell out of my trailer and landed upright like that. I was endurance testing my front axle emergency fix when snap rings don't work.
But SHHHHH I'd like to remain anonymous!

Meh. I’m calling BS on the "remote and highly inhospitable" location. It’s less than an hour outside of Moab north of the Needles overlook. As long as you are good driving on a dirt road and taking a short hike, you’re there. Just take adequate water and don’t go alone. That’s a beautiful area. nothing wrong with going and exploring.

It is officially a conspiracy theory now. I mentioned it to some of my contacts and at Kirtland and Sandia, and all I got back was "I can tell you, but then I'd have to kill you"

Which is obvious hor$e$hit since, like I said, it fell out of my trailer. Case closed.
 
I’m very glad this made the news so all the overlanders in the west will be traipsing all over Utah even more than they normally are instead of polluting the places I like go. @ramangain thank you for creating the buzz. Ps it’s the ones at Sandia that DON’T say things like that, that you wanna take seriously
 
Satellite photos from 2015 and 2016 reveals that my story didn't hold up and I'm full of $hit on this one. Cheers!
