Monitoring the Remote Rain Gauges along the Charouleau Gap Road (1 Viewer)

On a recent trip across the gap, we noticed the brown pipe towers with the antennas. Research shows that they are part of Pima County's ALERT system of remote rain gauges. It will be interesting this week to monitor the output of those gauges.

I remember finding that site once but cant for the life of me remember where it is again..can you post a link? ANd yeah..it's going to be very interesting over the next few days it may not be that bad though since its going to be pretty cold and most precipitation will fall as snow above there. SNOWBOARDING here I come WOOOT!
