Is there a difference between greases marked NLGI#2? Found a bunch of prods at the local auto-ripoff labeled NLGI#2 - but only 1 that specifically states moly to be in it: http://www.valvoline.com/pages/products/product_detail.asp?product=68 ...Is this OK for the birfields even though it is labeled as GP?

Also I assume Mobile1 gear oil is OK for the diff... is that correct? Manual calls for 90wt, Mobile1 is 75W/90.

Other than that I am ready to rip!!!

Sean,

>> Mobil1 is 75W/90 <<

This is what I use in the diffs and the transfer.

Good Luck on the birfield repack and post to the list if you have any questions or problems this weekend.

I used the SynPower grease on my front axle--it has moly. Also used their full synthetic gear oil (75W-90) in the diff.
