hi,
when your 40 live no far from the see , the rust is your enemy
here one picture of a modification , not OEM , but better in a case of desassembling of the turn signal
IMG_E1585.JPG

Can you show me how this works, please?

2nd on can u show us how this works please o_O

Dome'd head metric stainless steel carriage bolt , ground down to a Flat flush surface disc shape like OEM ..................maybe

normaly:
1:the original bolt is crimped in the base of the turn signal , but easy to remove
2: it's impossible to remove the two connection without cut the two electrical wires ( problem of diameter)

this new bolt has the same outside diameter and the same thread metric , but a bigger hole inside , with this bigger hole the two wire with their connection can pass throught

there is two nuts , the fine nut is for assembly the turn signal (remplace the crimped), he is short because very no much place for assembly the turn signal base , the second longer nut is for assembly the turn signal on the fender

important :all the news part are made of stainless steel
