What are the plans of others headed for Cruise Moab? I am leaving on the morning of the 29th after getting back to Iowa from Florida on the evening of the 28th. I have motel reservations at the 'Days Inn' 426 N. Main St for the nights of April 30th until May 4th. Then I will be heading for SLC for a new Exp One rear bumper(hopefully).
My trail assignments are:
Thur.- FJ Cruiser only run-Cliff Hanger
Friday- Poison Spider Mesa
Sat.- Golden Spike
All trails are 4 to 4+ rated.
I am anxious to try out the new equipment on the FJC. :cheers:
CM was great last year and I will miss Art's contribution to a great event this year.
BTW, I signed up today for the Black Hills run in July. If you get passed by a FJC with Iowa plates -VUDUBLU- that would be me:steer:

I'll hopefully get out to Moab sometime in my life... :)
 
Larry, can you do me a favor and toss your SWR meter in your FJ when you head out to Moab? I'm going to try to find a truck stop along the way to get my CB tuned, but if I don't have any luck doing that on the way to Moab, I'll need to get it tuned there to get the best reception.

I'm pretty excited about it. Got a lot of things checked off the 'to do' list as well.
1. permanently mounted my fire extinguisher.
2. Changed my rear axle gear oil
3. Extended/ re-routed my rear diff breather
4. bought a hi-lift.
5. topped off the grease in the front birf bells
6. CB installed
7. GPS installed
8. All seats removed except drivers/ passenger
9. Converted to 2WD

Be safe & have fun in moab Larry, (lots of pics too). Guess we'll see ya at BHCC, to really break-in that pretty new rear bumper :D

Sorry about the slow reply, I am stuck in FL until tomorrow with limited internet. I will bring the SWR meter. I will be busy getting ready to leave tuesday morning and I don't get back to Urbandale until 10 pm Monday eve. Can't wait to get to CM

Great pics! I need to make it out there some day.

Wonder how come I've never seen your FJ before. I work in Urbandale (121st Street), and I've only seen a couple stock Voodoo's. All in due time I guess.

Again, great pics, and I'm glad you had fun and you're home safe.
 
I live about 6 blocks west of the Hy-Vee on 86th. I don't go to 121st very often. Stop me if you see me and have a look at my mods. Not so stock any more.

I have the usual videos, tried to cut back so editing would not take so long. The FJC run was on Cliff Hanger. Also note the difference in my Signature , I finally updated it.

If you have looked at the moab photo link, I have just added 25 new ones from another person.
