I've got symptoms that sound similar to what was going on here that showed up this morning.
The truck ('02) has ~300K miles on it and received its latest timing belt about 10K miles ago. Fluids are all fresh (changed over the weekend) and topped off.
Drove to work this morning, stopped for gas, got back on the road and about a minute later I noticed it was idling rough. CEL came out a minute later. 5 minutes later when I get to work the CEL is flashing and the VSC/Trac lights are on. It's making this sound (quick video before shutting it down because that sounds BAD):
The code says cyl #4 misfire. I had new coil pack that's been rattling around in my glove box for 5 years and I swapped it in. No change.
The sound is pretty concerning. Any other simple diagnostics I should run before taking it to somewhere that can look inside the motor itself?
