My grandfather worked in a factory where they plated metal. Not sure what kind exactly, it was forty five years ago. He would take pennies and other small items and plate them shiny silver colored and gift them to my grandmother and sometimes the kids or grandkids. Obviously a much smaller scale than your stuff but the point is this. Those things were cherished by all for the personal touch and thoughtfulness. That's one heck of a nice gift for the FedEx guy and wife. I know I'm late to this thread but nicely done.

This seemed like the appropriate thread for this. This is a awesome alternative to the stock chrome metal lock strip that @TRAIL TAILOR sells. If you love the stock chrome look, dont mess with installing that evil stock metal lock strip. Get this plastic chrome lock strip from Jason. Looks spot on and easier to work with:
