On Saturday Chris O. managed to put his truck on its side. Sorry didn't get any pictures of it.

Oh boy was my wife mad about that! I did it in the first hour we were out there. The rest of the time there it seemed all she said was 'don't do that again'! No major damage. Tore off the driver mirror and fender flare. Good times.

Eric (last prez of MIOBI club) works at Lennox also. We enjoyed having ya Nick, I heard a few people commenting on your lack of timidity while hitting the trails (in other words, people saw you places that they didn't think you would go).

A couple of clips of two of the jeeps I was wheeling with. Doyle in the Rubicon and his kid Daniel in the cherokee. Both running new 34x10.5 LTB's.

A few shots to hopefully show some wider views of the property for people not familiar with it. I thought the shot of Big Chris being knee deep in the mud was worth repeating.

Both the blazer and jeep stuck, I got to pull them both out but you can't see it because my cameraman was pre-occupied with the white jeep for some strange reason. :idunno:

Thanks Dingman, I really enjoyed meeting some of you and especially appreciated the guided tour by Eric of MIOBI since they were all out of maps. My wife and I were really impressed with the friendliness of everyone and how much fun we had. This was her first trail event with me and I am so excited because she absolutely loved it and already wants to go again next year. I wish my exam schedule would have allowed us to attend TCCC08. She has even talked about how she thinks I need a shortbus bumper (she isn't a fan of the arb), so I don't think I will have any any trouble talking her into future mods as finances allow. She even thinks that the rock buggies are "cute" and that she wants me to build one for George in the future. Six week old George liked it too and didn't make a peep even on the off camber trails and bumps.

I noticed you mentioned jeeps beign pulled out. I noticed that a lot. There was a Jeep following Eric and I and Eric had to keep pulling him out. He just couln't keep up with the cruiser I guess, and I'm a heck of a lot heavier and have open diffs.

We look forward to future trail rides with you guys!

Man, I missed another great event. Sorry I couldn't make it but my dad had a little project for me to work on...rebuilding a 50 foot block retaining wall that him and I built 15 years ago...

I spoke to Eric today at work (that was the guy that introduced himself to me as the VP, I think, of MIOBI), and he said he was very impressed at what you were not only doing, but able to do in your Land Cruiser. He had nothing but good things to say about you.

Eric is a super friendly guy. I really appreciated him showing us around since they were all out of trail maps. I was really impressed with all the good people I met at the event and I look forward to future trips.

Honestly, I have to admit that I was impressed with what the cruiser could handle. This was my first time out since I put on the S/C, lift, and had the spare in the cargo area and I was shocked at what an unlocked 6000lb rig could do. I'm used to wheeling in older chevy's and independent axle toyota's. Luckily Eric was nice enough to show us around because I would have probably got lost in that 400 acre jungle.

Sounds good to me, I'm down to go on an 80 run with Doc. We'll have to use his slick shortbus/winch combo though because I won't have that setup for a couple of years. The actually said that she thinks I need bumpers after the MIOBI event and she thinks the shortbus is cuter than the ARB, so It's just a matter of rounding up the cash.

A spare tire is handy at times too........some of those MIOBI holes have sharp things at the bottom of them.
