Mini truck ps box line leaking

So I have searched alot for this issue and everyone says that the high pressure line needs a small port fitting or it will leak, well I put the seat in and it doesnt seem tall enough. When I tighten the JT's line, it is still loose in the ps box?!?! Is this normal? I havent run it yet like this but it will surely leak. Is there a taller seat that I don't know about? Is the fitting on the line too short?

I just finished my mini-truck p/s installation yesterday and it should fit snuggly. It sounds like it is the wrong fitting. the fitting should be 16mmx1.5 the other is 17mmx1.5. The low pressure fitting is the port closest to the firewall.

Does the male thread have a taper or is it parallel?
