ABout done with my mini truck disc brake swap onto my'72 fj40. It came with a brake booster and a front and rear reservoir on the master cylinder. Cant find out in the FAQ or searching if this will work, or if i'll have to switch to a different master cyinder or add a brake proportioning valve. Trying to get this done so i can take her wheeling this coming weekend.

as long as you are still drum in the rear it should work fine as is.

to work most correctly.... you will want a proportioning valve on the rear circuit... and a lighter residual valve on the front.

Mark...

Ive got the minitruck calipers and the booster/master is from the 72 fj40. Drums still in rear.
So a prop valve on the rear and lighter residual valve on the front? Just found a write-up in the tech section, says for 75 and earlier, remove the residual valve from front and rear circuit, and discard. Anyone else tried this? Im thinking its time for some trail and error. Any other info would be great though!
