Indeed. They are worth every penny of 2 grand for usefulness and ruggedness. They just don't come any better built!

I agree, ours was $800 and came with the proper military wheels/tires.

In the day our CUCVs had the 6.2 GM diesel (JUNK) ! They could barely tow those thinks loaded!
It was a Job for the Deuce and a half!

To my amazement there is a rare breed (Kim ) that will tow those things around with a 2H like it was nothing

That design has been around since 68 !

My breed isn't that rare...In PEI I have hundreds of relatives most of which are just as dim as me.
