On those whit UN vehicles, how do you get out of the left side door with the spare tire there???? Same with the green Bandi, although it has no doors in the pic.

drivers door is a 1/2 door it hindges in the middle...its kinda neat. :) i have a pic at home i'll post latter

heres another with what is called the "heavy windshield" very much like the split windshield but no split...this ex mil is very similler to the safari bandi...notice the windshild has the vent windows attached.

This 1984 HJ45 was one of 214 for the Australian Army reserve force. They were for a battalian called Norforce ,made up of people ,including the local Aboriginal population for the purpose of patrolling the remote coas of Australias north west coast.
They were all 5 sp,p/ steering and discs(I think).
Someone had removed the factory PTO winch. 80000 miles on the clock
I nearly bought the one in the pic and have regretted not doing so ever since.
The salesman was dying to get it out of his yard and just when I had him tied down,some idiot comes along and decides he wants it take down the beach and kill it when it wasnt carting rubble from his home renovation:mad:
