I'm taking the 200 on it's maiden cross country voyage this week and terrified of all of the hotel stays and cat converter thefts going on across our great nation.

Any recommended meta/fab shops that I can beg to cut a plate of aluminum and we can bolt underneath? Call me crazy, but there is a real time thread going on in the 200 forum that has me paranoid. I would sleep at truck stops but the cruiser will be filled with vacation stuff. Thanks!

If you cannot find a permanent solution, I would go temporary lo-tech and install a loud motion detector under my vehicle when I park it for the night. Keeping it close to your room also.
