What did you make them out of? I am looking to do something very similar to my doors on my 1972... for the same reasons. Noise and insulation.Before.

I think they fit up very well. Put on a couple hundred miles the last couple days. Really happy with them. They keep the cold off the door in the morning for my beautiful bride. And they cut down on the noise a ton. Which surprised me. All in all very impressed.

I love the way my truck runs with the 2.0L TDI. if you get the gearing right it will move a pretty heavy load without too much fuss.
Its exactly what I wanted for my application but it might not be what you want. It depends on your driving style, but a 60 series could go either way. If you don't mind shifting and taking advantage of the torque curve of a small displacement diesel engine then you might enjoy it. The toque production makes it feel more powerful than it really is when coupled with the correct gear splits.
If you don't take advantage of it if will feel lazy and undesirable for most people I bet.
My truck it probably over 5000 lbs. I need to get it on the scales again.
