Trust me i am less than happy about it . they are saying they will not budge until they get a 77% percent wage increase. Ya that wont end up costing us all more . Its like the McDonalds workers making 20 per hour and my Hamburger is now 18 dollarsthis bs strike is conveniently timed.

Nobody said it's cool that it happens that way, but we can't be ignorant to the fact that the cost for that will be passed on to the consumer, further driving inflation and increasing the gap between the working class and the rich. That tide may rise, but it goes back out with coporations getting away with what they do. The only thing that really counts is your dollar and where you spend itSo it’s cool when corporations and fat cats make record profits, but the laborers who create the capital that enriches the elites can’t get a leg up? You guys felt the pinch of inflation? It ain’t from somebody earning a fair wage. Organized labor IS THE TIDE that lifts all boats. It sure as s*** ain’t the new and improved trickle down economics. The havoc that the storm wreaked on the southeast is horrendous, but the labor strike was coming for months. It wasn’t orchestrated.
you're killing me tony. (gnob, aric)Knob... 6 trucks ran the trail.... 4 with our group, two OR folks who tagged along on our permit. Minitruck91 acted as Trail Leader, Lori drove Jeff's 40 series with my friends Chris and Uncle Bud following in support. Chris did trail repair one of the OR crew, exhaust rubbed a hole thru oil filter.
Wish you could have made it Arik, I know Jeff was always appreciative of the way you stepped up (voluntold) and became what he felt was a crucial player in the events success (firewood, etc). What is going on on the 7th??
