That's what I'm looking at doing along with my dad and any one else that wants to jump in.

Bad news from my end, work has taken priority and I'm out. More responsibility less fun.

Dang. I am out.. Jeff has left an indelible presence on the McGrew and I am so glad I got to go with him on his last run. Tony and crew I hope you have an awesome weekend.

This was a good time out to celebrate Jeff and see some I've met before and several new to me. My family and I really appreciate how nice this was and how warm everyone was to us. @TRT2 Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and experience with us all on our drive out. That was a nice touch

so, i have to know. did people actually run the trail? i don't see @Firemedic831 in any pics yet.
I didnt go . My son is supposed to get married in 2 weeks in NC and the venue got wiped out and now they are getting hit with Not only another Hurricane in FL but also the port workers are striking so there is a shortage of food and gas and really everything . So i have had to switch gears

Trust me i am less than happy about it . they are saying they will not budge until they get a 77% percent wage increase. Ya that wont end up costing us all more . Its like the McDonalds workers making 20 per hour and my Hamburger is now 18 dollars

Yes, there where several including Lori Bomke in Jeffs FJ40.
I was not one of them.

So it’s cool when corporations and fat cats make record profits, but the laborers who create the capital that enriches the elites can’t get a leg up? You guys felt the pinch of inflation? It ain’t from somebody earning a fair wage. Organized labor IS THE TIDE that lifts all boats. It sure as s*** ain’t the new and improved trickle down economics. The havoc that the storm wreaked on the southeast is horrendous, but the labor strike was coming for months. It wasn’t orchestrated.

Nobody said it's cool that it happens that way, but we can't be ignorant to the fact that the cost for that will be passed on to the consumer, further driving inflation and increasing the gap between the working class and the rich. That tide may rise, but it goes back out with coporations getting away with what they do. The only thing that really counts is your dollar and where you spend it

I will say the water up there was definitely warmer than I thought it was going to be. Hiked up to the old bridge foundation with my boys and that water was crystal clear for being around 12 or so feet deep and warm enough to want to swim there. Also caught a pic of Tony thinking he can hide behind everyone

Knob... 6 trucks ran the trail.... 4 with our group, two OR folks who tagged along on our permit. Minitruck91 acted as Trail Leader, Lori drove Jeff's 40 series with my friends Chris and Uncle Bud following in support. Chris did trail repair one of the OR crew, exhaust rubbed a hole thru oil filter.

Wish you could have made it Arik, I know Jeff was always appreciative of the way you stepped up (voluntold) and became what he felt was a crucial player in the events success (firewood, etc). What is going on on the 7th??

AgentOrange... thanks for making the trip. Next time we'll stay longer! Always seems too short.
