This is just a post to gauge interest.

Like the title states, I may be able to get my hands on various 70 series parts. I have to hammer out a deal to find out exactly what I can get but It would more than likely include brand new "take off" body/interior parts and used/well used drive train/body parts.

If there is a demand for said parts I will investigate further and try to make them available to fellow mudders.

Thanks for looking.

Not to hijack the thread, but I have the roof and windshield frame in Colorado. PM me if interested.

I would also be interested in a 75 series steering column and under dash heater.

so help us and find us some bargain priced Australian 7x series parts; you see how desperate ppl here are; what you call as junk is gold here and in most of the other countries where 7x has never been introduced by Toyota...

mate there is loads of 7x series parts in aus but our wreckers still charge a heap for parts so add postage would be a killa

Out of every cruiser or toyota wreckers in Perth ive only found two people/companys who sell cruiser stuff at a normal price or mates rates, one bloke sells second hand 7x series parts mainly 75 series and i get really cheap and good prices of him only because ive bought so much gear of him for my old 75 series and send all my mates with cruisers there so hes good for second hand parts

the second bloke sells brand new gear genuine and after market so for all new parts i need i see him
ie when i rebuilt my diff last weekend i needed to put new bearings in that i forgot to get the day befor ,i thought as it was saturday the bloke wont be at work so i called auto stores around perth prices for bearing $37 up to $46 each .so i called the bloke i normally get parts of , he was at work luckily and $21 each for genuine toyota
i have his email pm me if you would like it to get incontact with him see if he post's overseas or prices etc

he even got my toyota bonnet badge from jpn for me ..note toyota japan didnt want to sell it to him as its not a Aus spec option on the 7x series

Guys, you can get any 7X series part in Canada now with the exception of maybe some 24V parts - which can easily be had from Dave in Japan (cheaper and fast delivery too). It is easy to get parts here.

Hi:

I need a windshield frame for a 1987 BJ70 LX. Like all the steel between the firewall and the roof really. Also need a front left fender. I got custom fabed rear quarter panels from DAvid here and haven't installed them but they look like they'll work great.

Just ordered rocker panels through toyota so I may be able to do a restore when I get some money saved up.

Cheers,

D
